Always need a battery for clocks, remote controls, shortwave radio, etc. These are inexpensive enough that I always have a replacement nearBy when necessary. I don't know how they compare to the big name UPS but they seem fins for my uses and it is nice not messing around with chargers, etc.

Good UPS , Convenient and Inexpensive
